semana santa is here! it's the celebration of easter in costa rica and tico families flock to the beach towns and rivers from all over the country, and town is packed! since it is a holiday they close the one bar in town and no alcohol is sold at the markets but of course some beer sneaks out through one of them and people sell it in the streets. people need their booze.
in a way, it can be overwhelming to have town so packed but it's also nice to see costa ricans enjoying their country, and this is theirs, i'm only visiting. happy early easter!
